Birthdays at Disneyland

May 30th, 2008

Summer is quickly approaching and many of you are planning your family vacations. If your child is celebrating a birthday during the summer you should consider spending it at Disneyland. What better place to spend a birthday than at the “Happiest Place on Earth”?

If you have the opportunity to celebrate you child’s birthday at Disneyland there are many exciting things to do (as if the park itself is not enough). Your child will be thrilled with any of these special birthday options.

  • “My Disneyland Birthday Party” at the Plaza Inn in the Disneyland Park. This fun birthday party includes cake decorating (and eating too) and a special guest appearance by Mickey and Minnie Mouse.Plaza Inn Disneyland
  • At Goofy’s Kitchen located in the Disneyland Hotel you can have a birthday meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) with “Birthday Bags” for the kids. The “Birthday Bags” are filled with goodies like pens, a foam puzzle and a mini maracas. You can also order a Sorcerer Mickey or Princess “Birthday Bucket” for the birthday child. The “Birthday Bucket” has a mini cake on the top and comes with a cloisonne pin and other fun treats.
  • Order a “Birthday Bucket” when dining at one of the other Disneyland Resort full-service restaurants.
  • Room Service. You can have a birthday cake or cupcakes delivered to your room as well as a bouquet of balloons and/or a “Birthday Bucket”.

On Our Big Trip we celebrated two birthdays. My son, Matman, had a “My Disneyland Birthday Party” and our friend’s daughter had a party at Goofy’s Kitchen. Both parties were enjoyed by the kids and definitely made a memorable birthday! Call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463) for more information.
