Birthdays at Disneyland

May 30th, 2008

Summer is quickly approaching and many of you are planning your family vacations. If your child is celebrating a birthday during the summer you should consider spending it at Disneyland. What better place to spend a birthday than at the “Happiest Place on Earth”?

Easy party invitations with MyPunchbowl.com

May 22nd, 2008

I used to love designing and mailing out printed invitations for our kids’ birthday parties and holiday gatherings, but I really don’t have the time to devote to that anymore. Why spend hours printing the invitations, putting them into envelopes, then addressing, stamping and mailing them when you can do it all in […]

Class Goodie: Crayola

May 4th, 2008

This is a great class gift for the end of the school year. It is easy and will not take a lot of time. Perfect for busy mamas! TSO Jr was given this pack of watercolor pencils by a classmate last year. It is a simple gift that was personalized with […]

Hallmark Gold Crown: fUNZIPS

April 15th, 2008

If my kids find a roll of wrapping paper in the house it will be used as a baseball bat, a sword, or a light saber. By the time they are done with it the paper is ruined and my money is wasted! So I have stopped buying wrapping paper entirely.

Birthday Party Venue: Waikiki Aquarium

January 30th, 2008

Our daughter’s first birthday bash was held at the Waikiki Aquarium (WAQ) on the outskirts of Waikiki. It’s a cute little aquarium and is a wonderful location to host a private party. The aquarium is situated on beachfront property with an expansive grassy lawn to set up tables and food for guests.

My oldest son just celebrated his 5th birthday. His favorite thing right now is
LEGO Bionicle. He can sit and play with them for hours. It was no surprise that he wanted a LEGO Bionicle party. Instead of filling the pinata with the usual fillers (you know cavity magnets and […]

January 25th, 2008

My second son turned three while we were on our big trip and what better way to celebrate than a party at the Happiest Place on Earth? There are many different birthday options to choose from at Disneyland but we chose the “My Disneyland Birthday Party” at the Plaza Inn on Main […]

Class Goodie: Sweetheart Snack Mix

January 18th, 2008

I found this snack mix on BrightIdeas.com. It is the perfect Valentine’s goodie for your child’s class. BrightIdeas suggest putting the mix in 9-inch tulle circles tied with ribbon but you can use decorated snack bags to save some time. This snack mix would look great in the butterfly snack bags as […]

Butterfly favor (snack bag)

January 13th, 2008

I recently made these butterfly snack bags for my son’s school fair (idea from kraftfoods.com). You can fill the bags with any snack or candy. I think that something colorful looks best so I used Fruit Loops cereal. They are extremely easy to make unlike the pumpkins I made at Halloween. […]
