Green Toys

I recently discovered Green Toys and thought that the Sand Play Set would be perfect for our camping trip this weekend.  That’s right Kellie and I are leaving blogging behind to sleep at the beach under the stars for the next two nights.

The kids at camp are going to love playing in the sand with these toys.  The best part is they are earth-friendly and made using recycled milk jugs!  That is fantastic.  Not only have I kept the kids happy with some fun toys for the beach but I’m doing my part to help the environment.  Or as Kellie puts it “not to suck as much”.

Green Toys also make a Tea Set, Indoor Gardening Kit, and a Cookware and Dining Set.  Check out Green Toys and and don’t forget to recycle your empty milk containers!  Check out the energy that can be saved just by recycling milk jugs.  I don’t know about you but we go through a lot of milk in this house!

  • Have a super fun time camping! Can’t wait to hear all about it!!
Like the recycled milk jug ideas… right now my baby’s favorite toys are yogurt, pudding, and cottage cheese containers (rinsed out of course)

  • Have fun camping, we just did that ourselved a week ago. Thanks for the tip on green toys. I know a friend who loves to do everything green so I can buy some of those toys for her children’s birthdays!

  • Oh those look pretty interesting…after your camping trip, what do you think? How did they hold up? We took the kids camping this weekend, but it was just so hot…still had a good time though!

  • Have fun camping. Can’t wait to hear all about it when you come back. I have always wanted to go camping but Mr. Rojo has stood his ground on this one. Hopefully, one day..

The toys look so neat. I have to check them out.

  • That’s such a great idea, I think it is very important that each of us do our little part to be green, we do a lot of recycling around our house. Kellie - you crack me up, you’re totally right, we should all try to not suck as much!
