New Product: Soapopular Hand Sanitizer

Soapopular is a new product on the market that busy moms will love. This foaming hand sanitizer is alcohol-free, fragrance-free, and triclosan-free! It’s great to have on hand when you and the kids are on the go and don’t have access to soap and water. And even better, you won’t have to worry about your child getting accidental alcohol poisoning like with all of the other alcohol-based sanitizers out there on the market.
Soapopular is available at Target (sigh…Target) and Wal-Mart, as well as online at soapyusa.com. In fact, if you visit the website you can even order a free 3.4-ounce bottle of the sanitizer to try (you will have to pay $5 for shipping). I must admit, I’m not a hand-sanitizing fanatic during our normal day-to-day activities. I figure some germ exposure is good. And you know me, I’ve never pretended to be a neat freak. But when we’re out at exceptionally germy places (like Chuck E. Cheese – man, I’d hose that whole place down with Lysol if I could), that’s when I whip out the cleaning products. Karen introduced me to those little travel packs of Clorox wipes when we were on Our Big Trip and ever since then I carry them around with me everywhere. Have you seen some of those tables at the food court or high chairs at restaurants? Sometimes you’re better off eating on the floor. But I digress…where was I? Oh yeah, hand sanitizers.
I just received my free Soapopular sample and immediately started trying it out. The product absorbs nicely, leaves no residue, and has absolutely no smell (which is not necessarily a good thing for me - I kind of like some of those fruity scents). This generously sized sample will get lots of use on our upcoming trip later this month to Anaheim for a dental convention (yes, and we’re going to Disneyland…again). You can bet I’ll be sanitizing lots of little hands and wiping down everything with my little Clorox travel packs like a crazy lady!

Oooh, that’s cool! I will have to tell my wife about it. In fact, our daycare was just warning us about potential alcohol poisoning risk. Luckily our son Austin isn’t old enough to go roaming around. But either way, I don’t like the Purell alcohol feel on my skin so I think we’ll have to give it a shot. Thanks, busy mamas!
