I actually really like it, but I use it a little differently... we cut out the circles and fry the ring part in a skillet with an egg inside the hole. Then we take the middle circle and toast it or seal two together with jam inside or peanut butter (when we have it -- shopping in Mexico is pretty lame, too!) or cheese or whatever. You may have to put lettuce against the bread to prevent the moisture of the contents from making the bread soggy.
