TSO…what does it mean?
March 16th, 2008
A few people have asked me about my dear husband, TSO, and the meaning of his nickname. TSO is a self-proclaimed computer geek and who am I to complain? It pays the bills. He is the family and friends “go to guy” for all questions regarding computers and technology.
When Kellie and I started this blog, I barely knew how to turn my computer on. Seriously, I knew how to use email and book tr
avel reservations for work. That’s it! I didn’t even know what a blog was, let alone how to start one, design it, and put it all together! Kellie thankfully knew her way around a computer but still had no clue about blogging. What would possess us to set down a path we knew nothing about? (Sure we knew about the mama stuff but blogs?) Besides being completely out of our minds, we knew we could run to TSO.
I can only recall a couple of times we’ve needed his help so is it really necessary to reveal the meaning of his nickname? Well, maybe we’ve run to him a few more times but it has been no more than a handful. Do we really need to give attention to the name he gave himself?
Yes, he helped us when with just the hit of one key I deleted our entire blog but is that really reason to devote time to the meaning of TSO?
I know, I know! He helped Kellie fix her laptop which she swore was broken beyond repair (note to Kellie: must install applications for them to work) but I know you’re all busy mamas and have better things to do with your time than hear about TSO.
What? You’re willing to let the laundry pile up? For Pete’s sake! I don’t think you understand. Letting you in on the meaning of the nickname TSO gave to himself will validate it. I will never hear the end of it and every chance he gets he will remind Kellie as well. He is relentless!
You don’t care? Whose side are you on? I give up! I’ll tell you before your dinner burns!
TSO stands for “Thee Savvy One”. There it’s out for all to know as TSO thinks it should be. I may as well swallow my pride now and acknowledge that it is true. TSO is extremely computer savvy and has helped Kellie and me out more times than I can count (anything you see wrong on this blog is something we haven’t yet asked for help on). We are very appreciative of all of his help for without him we would have given up months ago. The busy mamas thank you TSO (now stop rubbing it in)!
