Britt - Ahhh yes...I remember the days when we had time to get busy...oops, I meant to say ahhh yes...I remember the days when the kids were stuck in their cribs or beds all night and waited for us to come get them!

Heidi - We have a king size too. One kid is not so bad but when it's two then things are a little crowded!

Sharon - Maybe I need to make a little bed for them too. I remember being little and begging my parents to let me sleep in their bed, or at the foot of their bed, or on the floor next to their bed...They always said no. Meanies.

Amy - I know! That's my thinking too. Except when they're kicking me in the head. Then it's not very cuddly.

Angela - I used to take my son back to his bed and fall asleep there too. Now I'm too lazy. Most times I don't even know they're there! It's my husband that grumbles.

Hosoo - Yes, he was quite thrilled about the outcome. You don't know how grouchy he is when they lose. And when they lose after he's flown out to see it? He's inconsolable.

Debbie - Fan is not the word. Try fanatic. And that wasn't a game, a game is when the opposing team actually scores. Oh wait, that's UCLA!

LATC - 7 AM...7 PM...same thing around here!

AsianMommy - I admire your resolve. I can sleep through anything so it's more an issue for Daddy.

Jojo - Simon sounds like our dog. He got kicked out of the bed when our daughter was born. He was King of the castle until then!

FarmGirl - Nice to meet you! I'm off to check out your site now...

Koala Brains - I guess kids are pretty much the same across the board huh? Ours are all over the bed too. Sometimes they fall off and I can't help but giggle.

MAH - I'm not a morning person and my kids know it. They always leave me alone and drag daddy out of bed to keep them company in the morning!

that hello kitty image is awesome. my daughter is only 19 months....but i have a feeling she'll be hopping out of her crib and busting into our room soon enough...and i'll have to lay down the law and bring her back to her own room. i am SO not a pleasant person if i don't get enough sleep...so it's in everyone's best interest that i'm left alone. :)

My daughter stays in her room. I will understand if she has a nightmare or is sick so that's why she has a full sized bed so I can sleep with her. She kicks and moves around way too much for me to get a restful night of sleep.

I'm sorry but am I still the only one in the universe who doesn't like...um I mean enjoy football. I still don't understand why a ball that's held in your hand is called FOOTball, that is soccer people!

Ok, anyway...your daughter is the adorablest!!! I think you know we are infamous co-sleepers...and like you, I totally enjoy the snuggling. My daughter has replaced Simon, my teddy bear who was originally kicked out when my husband entered the scene. Yes, I admit I slept with a teddy until my twenties...no shame in that. Now if we have more children, maybe the king will be replaced for a california king, who knows...

I couldn't possibly sleep with them in my bed, with all of the kicking and turning and hitting they do in their sleep. We quietly escort them back to their own beds at night. :)

They don't sleep with us at night, but often my older two will snuggle with us in the morning at 7 when they are allowed out of their rooms and if it is a little before 7, I often still let them in. :-)

Awesome ~ your husband is a USC fan? Fight On! And traveled here for the game? Cool.. It was a great first home game! :)

My little one rolls around his crib at night and he's never in the same place when I check on him so if he was in our bed i'd be afraid he'd roll off the edge or one of us would squish him. I'm not sure what will happen when he's old enough to walk to our room and climb into the bed himself.

Hello Kelli,

Your daughter is so CUTE! She was seriously concerned about you... :)

I bet your husband was happy that his team won, huh? I'm sure he thought it was worth his time and money. I think they played Ohio State.
