Have you ever wondered who your child looks more like? With some people there’s no doubt whatsoever who the child takes after. Not in our family. We have absolutely no clue and it seems no one else can figure it out either. I’m always hearing conflicting comments that our kids look more like Dr. DreamyMcSteamy or more like me. If it wasn’t for the fact that they look like brother and sister, I’d wonder if we even brought the right babies home from the hospital!
Imagine how thrilled I was to find this “Look Alike Meter” on MyHeritage.com. I thought I would finally get the answers to my question! So I quickly uploaded photos of each of us onto the site and let the computer do its magic. The results? Our daughter looks equally like both of us. Our son looks equally like both of us. *&%$#@&%*#!!
Maybe you’ll have more luck than me. This is such a cool site to play with and there are other fun features as well. In addition to building your family tree (I need to do this later when I have some time) you can see which celebrities you most resemble. The only ones that popped up for me were obscure asian celebrities (actresses? singers? dunno, never heard of them) and Sandra Bullock. Sandra Bullock? Okay, if you say so. I think this is really cool. I can’t wait to try it, although my wife Debbie and I have already got more than a fair share of feedback on the subject. But based on your own results, it sounds like a pretty neutral tool. Talk about straddling the fence!

When Willis tried it his came back that Austin looks 5% more like me. I just tried it and it said 7% more like Willis. Depends on the picture I guess. Fun site though.
We get mixed comments from people who see us in person, mostly that he looks like Willis, but a few say he looks like me.

I’ve only tried with my youngest son, Daredevil, but the Look-alike meter says he looks equally like TSO and I. I still need to try with TSO Jr and Matman but am beginning to wonder if the Look-alike meter ever dares to suggest a child looks more like one parent over the other or does it alway take the safe road.
