Nintendo Wii Fit

After three kids my body is just not the same! I’ve been fortunate enough to lose most of the pregnancy weight but need to work at losing the final pounds. To set the record straight I am not one of those women who only gained 20 pounds during pregnancy. All of which was in the belly. I gained weight everywhere! My arms, legs, face, and hips. In order to shed the last of the extra pounds I am going to have to suck it up and exercise. Something I actually don’t mind doing. The problem is (as all of you know) with three kids and a full time job I just can’t find the time to workout.

I just discovered that Nintendo is coming out with Wii Fit on May 21. It is a fun way to exercise on your Wii. There are 4 training modes: Balance Games, Aerobics, Yoga, and Strength Training with over 40 activities to choose from like snowboarding, jogging and push ups.
Wii Fit will calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index) and track your weight. You can set goals for yourself and Wii Fit will track your progress. Having my BMI and weight tracked for me will be a good reminder of why I need to work out.
Nintendo is promising the same fun that is expected with the Wii. They have activities for any age group or skill level including using a hula hoop so the whole family will find something to enjoy.
The best part about Wii Fit seems to be that I can workout at home (a busymama must) and may even be able to have fun with my kids while I do it. The Wii Fit will be released on May 21 and though it’s not quite in time for Mother’s Day I may have to throw some hints to TSO for a belated gift. (TSO are you reading this?)

Me too, me too! Dr. DreamyMcSteamy, are you reading this?

Hubby brought it home and mentioned “in passing” that it can help “people” lose weight. Yeah, real subtle honey….
Gotta admit, the hula hoop game is fun; especially when the challenge for first place is thrown down!

Yes, I love their subtly sometimes! Dr. DreamyMcSteamy is anxious for me to get one too (he says it’s for him - yeah right), only problem is it’s hard to find since we didn’t put our name on the reservation list. I guess I shall have to live vicariously through all of you for the time being!
