Wii Game Review: Playground
February 12th, 2008
We first played this game at Karen’s son’s (TSO, Jr.) birthday party recently and had to pick up a copy for ourselves (I mean our daughter). It’s great for kids because it’s not too difficult and has a good variety of mini games that bring you back to your childhood. Playground is made for 1 to 4 players, and the mini games consist of dodgeball, tetherball, slot car racing, paper racers, dart shootout, wallball and kicks.
I personally love dodgeball (the classic “whip the ball at your friend’s head” game we all know and love), slot cars (simple car racing), paper racers (guiding paper airplanes through an obstacle course) and dart shootout (a target shooting game).
As I mentioned earlier, the games are not too difficult and my 4-year old can keep up with them and understand the concepts of what’s involved. This in itself gets the thumbs-up from me!
